Azelaic Acid Serum Review: Anua Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum

Anua Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum Anti-aging

Anua Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum – I finished the bottle the other day: this serum is incredible!!! It’s like water and oil (yet neither), incredibly delicate but powerful.

10% Azelaic Acid – The Star of the Formula

It contains 10% azelaic acid. Ten percent!

And what does that do for us?
Azelaic acid is beneficial for rosacea, couperose, redness, acne, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and bumpy texture. It actively reduces redness, strengthens capillaries, helps combat puffiness, slows melanin production, provides gentle gradual exfoliation, has anti-inflammatory properties, and regulates sebum production (perfect for combination skin).

And here, this beauty comes in a truly effective concentration—not a token amount (10% is exactly the active level suitable for at-home care).

Azelaic Acid + Powerful Supporting Ingredients

The manufacturer beautifully paired azelaic acid with other fantastic actives, all aimed at improving skin texture, evening out tone, promoting healing, soothing, and hydrating—panthenol, betaine salicylate (gentle exfoliation), centella, ceramides, squalane, zinc PCA, licorice, neem, green tea, beta-glucan, and niacinamide.

Free from alcohol, silicones, colorants, fragrance, and any toxic or harmful ingredients. Flawless!

Azelaic Acid Serum Texture & Application

Almost like water, which makes application a bit tricky—it tends to run, but I got used to it. On the skin, this “water” initially feels slightly like a slippery oil, but that sensation quickly disappears. The product absorbs perfectly, leaving absolutely no stickiness or greasiness, even on dry skin. It doesn’t tighten the skin and has no scent.

Azelaic Acid Results: Redness, Tone & Skin Texture

If my skin were still as hypersensitive as it used to be, I would have been squealing with delight—back then I had intense redness and would have felt its full impact.

But I haven’t had significant redness for a long time, though I still have mild couperose and micro-redness on my cheeks (remnants of that past sensitivity). Within about two weeks, the serum reduced them almost to zero, and my complexion became completely even. The only redness it didn’t tackle was on the sides of my nose—but that’s something only laser treatments can fix; skincare can’t handle that. Everywhere else, though, it performed amazingly. I didn’t even expect such persistent redness to improve.

On top of that, it hydrates beautifully and has an overall calming effect. My skin feels incredibly calm, smooth, firm, and fresh with it.

Final Verdict on This Azelaic Acid Serum

Overall, for my sensitive, dry, mature skin, this is simply a gift—an impeccable formula with very fast results. I need another bottle!

My rating: 10+/10.
